A few weeks before the third anniversary of his death, I began to assemble this page about my very good friend, Roy Hennig. The photo is Roy on the summit of Guinn's Pass taken on Saturday, August 2, 2003 at 11:37 AM. This is how I want to remember my friend, the picture of good health on top of the mountain.
Obituary
Pat and I were unable to attend A Celebration of Roy’s Life. We sent Connie an email of some of our memories and she quoted some of it at the celebration. Pat and I often talked about one more trip to Vancouver Island to see friends but now, if that trip ever happens, Roy will not be there.
Album
For many years after Roy and Connie left Calgary to retire on Vancouver Island, Pat and I looked forward to receiving a newsletter from them as they looked back on their year.
