Took the picture of Mom/Oma today. Please feel free to share with family, sorry I don’t have everyone’s e-mail address. She was feeling good and in great spirits. I think she is getting smarter and faster with age, she finished the 1000 piece puzzle in just 5 days. Every morning she attends exercises (staff tease her saying she could lead the class) then she reads her newspaper cover to cover. Friday she looks forward to completing the lexicon puzzle in the paper and she is very good at it! Better than me. Mail and cards are always welcome, she appreciates it and enjoys reading and looking at them in her room. Thank you to those folks that sent lovely cards for Mother’s Day. Her greatest challenge is short term memory and hearing, despite that she remains content and feels well cared for.
